Air conditioning is mechanical. It moves air, holds water and runs for thousands of hours a year, and like anything mechanical it rewards attention and punishes neglect. ComfortCare keeps your system efficient, clean and covered, with the engineers who installed it.
Twelve months after we commission your system we come back, check it over and confirm it is performing as designed. It costs you nothing, and it is the point at which most people decide which plan suits them.
A blocked filter and a fouled coil force the unit to work harder for the same result. Left alone for a few seasons, a system can draw noticeably more electricity to hold the same temperature.
Manufacturer warranties, and our own 7-year cover, are conditional on documented annual servicing. Without the records, a claim can be turned down.
The indoor unit is warm and damp by design. Cleaning the coil, blower wheel and drain is what keeps the air it circulates fresh rather than stale.
A slow refrigerant leak or a tired capacitor found on a service visit is a minor job. Found in August, when the system has already stopped, it is not.
Professional annual maintenance and ongoing support for your Sygnum air conditioning system, looked after by the engineers who installed it.
Annual maintenance, priority support and continued peace of mind. ComfortCare keeps your system clean, efficient and properly maintained, and gives you priority access to the engineers who know it.
Around 60 to 90 minutes for a single unit. You do not need to do anything except let us in and point at the units.
Shoe covers on, floor and furniture below the unit covered. We confirm which rooms we are working in before anything comes apart.
Filters out and washed, coil and blower inspected and cleaned, drain tray flushed and the outdoor unit cleared of debris.
Refrigerant pressures, supply and return temperatures, electrical connections, sensors and controls, all recorded against the commissioning figures.
Everything back together, the system run through cooling and heating in front of you, and a written report by the end of the day.
For a domestic system, yes, and both the manufacturer and our own warranty require it. An annual service is what keeps efficiency close to the day it was commissioned, and it is the only way a warranty claim can be evidenced.
Almost never. Statutory leak testing applies above a refrigerant charge threshold that domestic split systems sit well under. We still check for leaks on every visit, it protects your running costs, but there is no legal paperwork for you to hold.
Yes. The plan covers up to two indoor units; any others are added to the annual service for a small extra charge, agreed with you first.
That is fine. We inspect the system first, chargeable, and typically the cost of a one-off service, so we know what we are taking on. If it needs remedial work we will quote for it before offering a plan rather than after.
Yes. The outdoor unit is part of the system and gets checked, cleaned and tested on every visit. A coil that sits outside all year benefits from it more than people expect.
Tell us how many indoor units you have and roughly how old the system is. We will confirm the price and book the first visit.
